LSEG Lipper Fund Awards Europe and Switzerland 2025: Eurizon Fund – Bond Aggregate RMB wins the award for “Best Fund Bond Asia Pacific Local Currency, 5 years category
Eurizon Fund – Bond Aggregate RMB cl. R topped the chart as Best Fund Asia Pacific Local Currency, 5 years at the LSEG Lipper Fund Awards Europe (first out of 20 funds) and Switzerland (first out of 19) 2025.
The Luxembourg fund is managed by Eurizon SLJ Capital, a London-based asset management firm (65% controlled by Eurizon) specialised in investment services and advice, with focus on currency management and macroeconomic research.
Eurizon SLJ Capital LTD is based on the United Kingdom, but boasts a management team mostly made up of portfolio managers of Chinese origin with years of experience at the international level. By bringing together a deep understanding of the Chinese culture, its peculiarities and dynamics, with an international outlook, this team of portfolio managers is focused on drawing up valid strategies aimed at achieving specific objectives.
Eurizon Fund - Bond Aggregate RMB is a sub-fund specialised in investing in bonds denominated in Renminbi, traded on the China Interbank Bond Market and on other markets in the People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong. Launched in February 2018, it has fast become one of the largest mutual funds specialised in this asset class outside China.
The LSEG Lipper Fund Awards from Refinitiv were given to funds registered for sale in the respective geographical region/country with at least 36 months of performance history as at 31 Dec. 2024.
Within each classification by fund type (that differs depending on the asset class), the award winners rank first in the Lipper Leaders Rating for Consistent Return (Effective Return) based on the Effective Return criterion, a measure of risk-adjusted return over calculated over 3, 5 or 10 years.
