Eurizon Fund – Bond Aggregate RMB R wins Lipper Fund Awards Europe and Netherlands 2023
Eurizon Fund – Bond Aggregate RMB R won the award as best Asia Pacific Local Currency Bond Fund in the 3-year category at the 2023 Lipper Fund Awards Europe and Netherlands, standing out based on objective and quantitative criteria that measure risk-adjusted performance in each fund’s category.
The fund had previously won Lipper Fund Awards 2023 in the same category in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France and the Nordic Countries.
Eurizon Fund - Bond Aggregate RMB R is a Luxembourg fund managed by Eurizon SLJ Capital LTD, a company based in London and 65% owned by Eurizon Capital SGR. The fund specialises in investments in bonds denominated in Renminbi, traded on the China Interbank Bond Market and on other markets in the People’s Republic of China and in Hong Kong. Launched in February 2018, it has rapidly become one of the largest mutual funds specialised in this asset class outside China*, with around 1345 million euros in assets under management at the end of February 2023.
The Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards were given to funds registered for sale in the respective geographical region/country with at least 36 months of performance history as at 31 Dec. 2022.
Within each Lipper Fund classification (that differs depending on the asset class), the award winners rank first in the Lipper Leaders Rating for Consistent Return, based on the Effective Return criterion, a measure of risk-adjusted return over different time horizons (daily, weekly, monthly and/or annual). The calculation periods extend over 3, 5 or 10 years.
