Gregorio De Felice appointed Chairman of the Board of Eurizon
Milano, March 30th 2026 – The Shareholders' Meeting of Eurizon Capital SpA — with the vote of the sole shareholder, Intesa Sanpaolo SpA — resolved today to appoint Gregorio De Felice, Chief Economist and Head of Research of Intesa Sanpaolo, as a Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurizon Capital.
De Felice retains his position as Chief Economist and Head of Research of Intesa Sanpaolo. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the R&I Foundation (Research & Entrepreneurship, 2022-2025), President of AIAF (Italian Association for Financial Analysis, 2007-2010), and President of ICCBE (International Conference of Commercial Bank Economists, 2015-2018).
A graduate of Bocconi University, he is a member of the Chief Economists' Group of the European Banking Federation, as well as of the boards of ASSBB, Assonebb, ISPI, SRM, GEI, the Foundation for Economic and Social Research, the Manlio Masi Foundation, the Robert Triffin International Foundation, the Urban Network of Representatives, and the Board of the main pension fund of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
He is the author of numerous publications on financial markets, the evolution of the Italian and European banking system, monetary policy, and public debt management.
