At the 21st edition of the Premio Alto Rendimento, Eurizon won the following awards:
• Italian Funds "Big" – Best Asset Manager – 3rd place, Eurizon Capital
• Eurizon Project Italia 20 PIR: BEST PIR funds – Best Fund – 3rd place
The Premio Alto Rendimento (High Yield Award) is assigned by Il Sole 24 ORE based on solid analysis criteria, using valuations provided by CFS Rating.
To assign the awards to the three best Italian asset management firms over a 3-year period (data as at 31 December 2018), the AM firms were divided into two groups: “Big”, with assets under management of over 4 billion euros, and “Small”, with on assets under management of less than 4 billion (as per 3Q 2018 data published by Assogestioni).
The analysis of the PIR product segment was implemented considering the performances achieved by the funds over a period of 18 months. As the analysis is focused on PIR funds belonging to different categories (with very different volatility levels), in consideration of the high volatility and ngative performances of the Italian stock market, the awards went to the funds that consistently outperformed, and managed to do so showing lower volatility levels than the benchmark.
