Sustainability is becoming an increasingly central factor in the investment world and is one of the values that guide Eurizon’s actions, alongside Passion, Responsibility, Integrity and Excellence. Eurizon’s sustainability policy outlines the framework for managing sustainability risks and the methods whereby ESG criteria are integrated into the investment process. 

Here at Eurizon, we believe the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, and of the sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) principles, is functional to achieving sustainable performances over time, and we strive to promote behaviours oriented towards long-term choices.

Eurizon achieves the first milestone of the Net Zero Stewardship Target and the goal of increasing investments in "Climate Solutions“ as part of its Net Zero objectives.
2024
Eurizon introduces the “Eurizon Naturewatch” and “Directors’ Accountability” frameworks; Principal Adverse Impact indicators (PAI) are incorporated in its Engagement Policy
2023
Eurizon identifies four macro themes on which to focus its Stewardship activities and joins Climate Action 100+, Nature Action 100 and PRI Advance
2022
Eurizon publishes “Net Zero” targets, introduces equity circular and Net Zero products and publishes the Guidelines for the definition of voting instructions
2021
Eurizon adopts the Sustainability Policy and joins the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative(NZAMI) and the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC)
2020
Eurizon adopts an Engagement Policy, publishes its first Global ESG Report and supports the “Science-Based Targets” and the CDP “Non-Disclosure” campaigns
2019
Eurizon expands its ESG offering.
2018
Eurizon is the first asset manager to launch a green bonds fund
2017
Eurizon integrates ESG and SRI Principles in its Investment Process
2015
Eurizon signs the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
2014
Eurizon signs the Italian Stewardship Principles for the responsible exercise of administrative and voting rights
